16 year-old Huntland High School Student Dies in Saturday Accident

A 16-year-old Huntland student tragically died Saturday around 1 p.m. in Lincoln County, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

On Target News has confirmed the driver’s name as Hana Allen., who died. A 13-year-old passenger was injured in the single-vehicle crash.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a 2007 Toyota Camry was traveling east along Rambo Road. As the car went through a curve, it went off the right side of the road and hit an embankment. That caused the vehicle to spin, overturn, and slide across the road, hitting another embankment.

We have also confirmed through a post on the Huntland Schools Facebook page that Allen was a sophomore at the High School in Franklin County.

The photo of Hana was posted by Huntland Schools on their Facebook page.
