The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed additional cases of COVID-19 across the state on Thursday, April 16. The update brings the total number of positive cases in the state to 6,262. Nissan Continues Shutdown

Nissan manufacturing facilities will remain closed for the most part until mid-May, due to the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier this month, Nissan announced its manufacturing facilities be closed through the end of April.   In Tennessee, the continued downtime affects 9,000 workers at Nissan’s Smyrna and Decherd facilities.  Business-essential work at the plants will continue, with enhanced safety measures.

Tullahoma Shuts Down School for Academic Year 2019-20

Tullahoma City Schools announced on Wednesday that is would wait until Monday before deciding about closing down school for this academic year or reopening.
