Vanderbilt Fires Head Football Coach

Vanderbilt University announced on Sunday that they have fired Head Football Coach Derek Mason and offensive coordinator Todd Fitch will serve as the interim head coach until a replacement can be found. Mason was 27-55 in seven seasons with the Commodores and the team is 0-8 this season. Vanderbilt will play at Georgia this Saturday.

Winchester Police has issued a report of a runaway juvenile. Brooklyn Blackburn a 15 year old female was reported as a runaway on Wednesday, Nov. 25. Latest COVID-19 Numbers; Bedford and Coffee Counties on the Rise

The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed additional cases and deaths related to COVID-19 across the state on Sunday, November 29. The health department reported 3,052 new cases after 6,750 reported on Sunday. 2,197 people currently hospitalized in the state.  TDH confirmed 13 additional deaths on Sunday, bringing Tennessee up to 4,554 total deaths.  Area county active …

Ascend Federal Credit Union Contributes $14,515 to Komen Breast Cancer Foundation of Central Tennessee

Ascend Federal Credit Union has donated $14,515 to the Central Tennessee chapter of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
