The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed additional cases and deaths related to COVID-19 across the state on Wednesday, July 29. The health department reported 1,778 new cases, bringing the state to 100,822 total cases, a 2% day-to-day increase since Tuesday.
TDH also confirmed 21 additional deaths for the second day in a row, bringing Tennessee up to 1,021 total deaths.
Out of the confirmed positive cases, 62,129 have recovered. Tennessee currently has 37,672 active cases.
*Bedford County: 10 died; 806 confirmed/probable cases; 601 recovered; 195 active cases
*Coffee County: 0 died: 333 confirmed/probable cases; 161 recovered; 172 active cases
*Franklin County: 3 died; 232 confirmed/probable; 124 recovered; 105 active cases
*Grundy County: 2 died; 89 confirmed/probable; 63 recovered; 24 active cases
*Lincoln County: 1 died; 218 confirmed/probable; 102 recovered; 115 active cases.
*Moore County: 0 died; 37 confirmed/probable; 24 recovered; 13 active cases
*Rutherford County: 49 died; 5,682 confirmed/probable; 2,904 recovered; 2,729 active cases.
*Warren County: 4 died; 339 confirmed/probable; 169 recovered; 167 active cases
