3rd Round of Snow and Ice in January Hits the area on Sunday

As a wintry mix of rain, sleet and snow began falling in our coverage area on Sunday morning it started to stick roads and surfaces around lunchtime.

Per the National Weather Service, the temperature won’t warm significantly above freezing across the mid-state until the afternoon hours on Tuesday.

You can always stay up to date on your weather with the stations with an on-staff meteorologist. Tim Root keeps you informed on 93.9 The Duck, Rooster 101.5 and Whiskey Country 105.1 & 95.9.

We will also keep you updated on closings, postponements and cancelations.
