After taking the job 12 days ago Tarlton out as Franklin Co. Boys Basketball Coach, Holt New Named Head Coach

Sam Tarlton notified Franklin County High School Principal, Dr. Roger Alsup, that he has decided not to come to Franklin County.

Zach Holt has been named the new FCHS Boys Basketball coach.

Alsup said, “We are disappointed that Sam will not be coaching our boys basketball team, but we wish him the best, and we are moving on.”

Alsup added, “Zach has an impressive resume too. We are very fortunate to have someone with Zach’s experience and take over the boys basketball team.”

Holt spent 3 years as an assistant coach at Motlow College and 2 years as an assistant at Tusculum College.
