The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed additional cases of COVID-19 across the state on Tuesday, July 21. The health department reported 2,190 new cases, bringing the state to 81,944 total cases.
TDH also confirmed 24 additional deaths, bringing Tennessee up to 871 total deaths.
Out of the confirmed positive cases, 47,852 have recovered. Currently Tennessee has 33,221 active cases. This is the highest number since the pandemic began.

*Coffee County: 0 died: 220 confirmed/probable cases; 127 recovered; 93 active cases
*Franklin County: 3 died; 166 confirmed/probable; 88 recovered; 75 active cases
*Grundy County: 2 died; 73 confirmed/probable; 58 recovered; 13 active cases
*Lincoln County: 0 died; 148 confirmed/probable; 66 recovered; 82 active cases
*Moore County: 0 died; 32 confirmed/probable; 18 recovered; 14 active cases
*Rutherford County: 43 died; 4,716 confirmed/probable; 2,164 recovered; 2,509 active cases.
*Warren County: 3 died; 248 confirmed/probable; 79 recovered; 166 active cases
