After High-Speed Pursuit in March Cookeville Man Appears in Court

21 year-old Cory Len Curtis of Cookeville recently appeared in the Grundy Co. General Sessions Court to answer to a variety of charges including possession of meth.

According to Sheriff Clint Shrum bond was set for $10,000 and was released with a drug patch monitor which he must report to often.

Curtis was arrested in March for leading deputies in Grundy Co. on a high-speed chase that ended on Highway 56 in Warren Co. Deputies there assisted by deploying spike strips and Curtis was arrested.

Seven small white baggies were discovered in the driver’s seat, along with a meth pipe.

In addition, he was charged with evading arrest, reckless driving, reckless endangerment, registration violation and DUI.
