BREAKING NEWS!! Human Skull Found in Manchester Identified as Franklin Co. Man Missing Since 2016

On Thursday (December 5, 2019) the Manchester Police Department was notified by the State Medical Examiner’s Officer that the human skull, located on November 20, 2019, behind the former Pappy’s Restaurant on Skinner Flatt Rd. has been positively identified. According to Manchester Police Chief Investigator Brandon Tomberlin, the human skull was identified as Justin Zeigler, resident of Franklin County, TN. Zeigler was initially reported missing in November 2016. On November 21, 2019, the human skull was transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Nashville, TN. Manchester Police was notified, on December 5, 2019, that the human skull was Zeigler, confirmed via family DNA match.
The investigation will remain open and ongoing in an attempt to locate Zeigler’s other remains.
