CASA looking for Volunteers and Receives Donation

CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates. Volunteers are recruited, trained, and supervised to be Court Appointed Special Advocates for abused children in Juvenile Court. CASA is looking to fill 10 volunteer advocates in Coffee Co, 15 in Franklin Co, and 5 in Bedford.

The training is a total of 35 hours, twice weekly for 8 weeks. By the end of the training, you will be sworn in by a judge.

And on a side note; The United Way of Hwy 55 presented CASA Works Executive Director, Wanda Strayhorn, with their 4th quarter allocated donation.

Lucky has done play-by-play for 3,947 (and counting) sports events on Radio & TV. He also served four years as the Public Information Officer for the Coffee Co. Sheriff's Dept. and taught Radio/TV for six years at Grundy County High School.
