In a game that you heard on the Rooster 101.5, the Coffee County girls basketball defeated previously perfect White County in overtime 69-65. Bella Vinson hit a huge 3 pointer at the end of the 4th quarter to force an overtime period.
Vinson had 23 points on the evening, 21 in the second half. Chloe Gannon chipped in 15 points and the Crazy Daisies Player of the Game Alivia Reel had 13 points. Coffee County girls are now 3-0 on the season.
In the second part of Tuesday’s doubleheader the Warriors proved to be too much for the Raiders 68-50. The Crazy Daisies Player of the Game, Connor Shemwell led the Raiders in scoring with 14. CJ Anthony added 13 and Jaxson Vaughn had 12.
The Lady Raiders will be in action Wednesday night in the Tipoff Classic in Lynchburg at 7:30. The Raiders will take part in the Cannon County Classic on Friday playing Providence Christian Academy at 1:30 PM. Both of these games can be heard on the Rooster 101.5 FM
