The Coffee County Commission will meet on Tuesday night with various items on the agenda.
Resolution: Rescinding vote which designated the site for the new Coffee County Animal Control Facility. After the county commission approved the site to be built on the sheriff’s department grounds some commissioners and Sheriff Chad Partin are now voicing concern about the location.
A Resolution making appropriation for the various funds, departments, institutions, offices and agencies of Coffee County, Tennessee for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2022 and ending June 30, 2023.
Register of Deeds Donna Toney has requested the funds from the American Recovery Plan to be used for raises for county employees. According to a social media post by Toney, some commissioners are not in favor of using the money for raises.
Some of the other items to discussed: Resolution to Construct a New Coffee County Consolidated Health Department in the Coffee County Joint Industrial Park and a Resolution to Increase the Compensation of the County Attorney Bob Huskey.
