Coffee County High School Parade of Graduates for Class of 2021 set for May 28

The following is a press release from Coffee County Director of Schools Dr Charles Lawson:

Coffee County Central High School will be conducting a Parade of Graduates as a graduation ceremony on May 28, 2021. School and district officials spent a significant amount of time evaluating options and decided that this plan represents the best opportunity for community involvement and ensures that all interested persons have the ability to view the graduates. If a traditional graduation had been held at the football stadium, the graduates would have had a limited number of tickets issued for family and friends.

Instructions and information can be obtained through social media outlets for the high school and the school district. We will update these instructions as further information becomes available.

In addition to the press release On Target News is proud to announce that Principal Paul Parsley asked if Rooster 101.5 FM would participate, and our answer is YES! Rooster 101.5 plans to broadcast the audio of the graduation ceremony. We would also like to thank Mr. Parsley for allowing us to show the live video on The Rooster 101.5 FM Facebook page.

Last year’s event went extremely well and everyone at The Rooster is honored to be asked and take great pleasure in broadcasting this incredibly special event.

We will keep everyone updated on additional information when it becomes available on air and on social media. Congratulations Coffee County Central High School Class of 2021.
