Confirmed!! Parade of Graduates will take place for Coffee Co. High School Seniors

As first reported the Coffee County Class of 2021 will have a Parade of Graduates to celebrate the senior student accomplishments.

After the mask mandate was rescinded earlier this week Coffee County High School leadership decided to put the graduation ceremony in the hands of those that will be graduating. A vote was taken at school on Thursday.

Nearly 82% (81.98%) of the Coffee County Class of 2021 voted in the poll. Of 305 responses, 155 seniors voted to have a Parade of Graduates and 150 for a traditional ceremony.

Coffee County Central High School will be conducting a Parade of Graduates as a graduation ceremony on May 28, 2021 at 6pm.

On Target News is proud to announce that Principal Paul Parsley asked if Rooster 101.5 FM would participate, and our answer is YES! Rooster 101.5 plans to broadcast the audio of the graduation ceremony. We would also like to thank Mr. Parsley for allowing us to show the live video on The Rooster 101.5 FM Facebook page.
