The majority of Tennessee counties recorded unemployment rates below 5% in May 2021.
Forty counties dropped in unemployment during May, while rates remained the same in 18 counties. Thirty-seven counties saw an increase in unemployment in May.
At 2.7%, Moore and Williamson counties have the lowest unemployment in the state.
Bedford Co. 4.4% in May 4.8 in April.
Coffee Co. up from 4.2% in April to 4.4 in May.
Franklin Co. stayed the same at 4.1%.
Grundy Co. jumped from 5.8% in April to 6.4 in May.
Lincoln Co. fell from 4.4 in April to 4.3 in May.
Warren Co. increased from 5.0 percent in April to 5.4 percent in May.
