Covid-19 Case Count Continues to Rise-Coffee County has First Case

The COVID-19 case count for Tennessee is now 1,511 as of March 28, 2020, according to Johns Hopkins University and Medicine. The report includes seven deaths and 118 hospitalizations.

Laboratory reports of positive cases are reported to metro and local health departments as soon as results are available. Because of that reason, state numbers that are released only once per day can be much lower than the actual number.
