The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed additional cases of COVID-19 across the state on Sunday, July 5. The health department reported 1,291 new cases, bringing the state to a total of 51,431 total cases.
TDH also confirmed nine additional deaths, bringing Tennessee up to 646 total deaths.
Out of the confirmed positive cases, 30,254 have recovered, which means Tennessee currently has 20,531 active cases, a new record high.

*Coffee County: 0 died: 119 confirmed/probable cases; 95 recovered; 4,460 negative tests
*Franklin County: 3 died; 87 confirmed/probable; 60 recovered; 3,100 negative tests
*Grundy County: 1 died; 62 confirmed/probable; 50 recovered; 943 negative tests
*Lincoln County: 0 died; 64 confirmed/probable; 45 recovered; 2,227 negative tests
*Moore County: 0 died; 12 confirmed/probable; 7 recovered; 544 negative tests
*Rutherford County: 35 died; 2,987 confirmed/probable; 1,304 recovered; 23,355 negative tests
*Warren County: 0 died; 76 confirmed/probable; 34 recovered; 3,252 negative tests
