COVID-19 Update for Tennessee, Sunday August 30, 2020

The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed additional cases and deaths related to COVID-19 across the state on Sunday, August 30. The health department reported 835 new cases, bringing the state to 153,115 total cases.

TDH also confirmed 22 additional deaths, bringing Tennessee up to 1,747 total deaths.

Out of the confirmed positive cases, 114,769 have recovered. Tennessee Currently has 36,599 active cases.

*Bedford County: 14 died; 1,107 confirmed/probable cases; 831 recovered; 262 active cases

*Cannon County: 0 died; 198 confirmed/probable cases; 153 recovered; 45 active cases

*Coffee County: 6 died: 760 confirmed/probable cases; 471 recovered; 283 active cases

*Franklin County: 4 died; 488 confirmed/probable; 340 recovered; 144 active cases.

*Grundy County: 2 died; 149 confirmed/probable; 114 recovered; 33 active cases

*Lincoln County: 1 died; 409 confirmed/probable; 280 recovered; 128 active cases.

*Moore County: 0 died; 93 confirmed/probable; 55 recovered; 38 active cases.

*Rutherford County: 70 died; 7,799 confirmed/probable; 5,636 recovered; 2,093 active cases.

*Warren County: 7 died; 851 confirmed/probable; 527 recovered; 317 active cases.
