COVID-19 Update for Wednesday September 2, 2020

The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed 1,502 additional cases of COVID-19 across the state on Wednesday, September 2, bringing the state to 157,831 total cases.

TDH also confirmed 16 additional deaths, bringing Tennessee up to 1,797 total deaths.

Out of the confirmed positive cases, 120,675 have recovered. Tennessee currently has 35,359 active cases.

*Bedford County: 14 died; 1,137 confirmed/probable cases; 870 recovered; 253 active cases

*Cannon County: 0 died; 206 confirmed/probable cases; 160 recovered; 46 active cases

*Coffee County: 6 died: 785 confirmed/probable cases; 508 recovered; 271 active cases

*Franklin County: 4 died; 534 confirmed/probable; 364 recovered; 166 active cases.

*Grundy County: 3 died; 152 confirmed/probable; 122 recovered; 27 active cases

*Lincoln County: 1 died; 424 confirmed/probable; 295 recovered; 128 active cases.

*Moore County: 1 died; 97 confirmed/probable; 60 recovered; 36 active cases.

*Rutherford County: 70 died; 7,930 confirmed/probable; 6,016 recovered; 1,844 active cases.

*Warren County: 7 died; 879 confirmed/probable; 579 recovered; 293 active cases.
