South Franklin Middle School announced Monday that it has hired Connor Creutz as its head football coach.
Creutz who will also teach at South has spent the last two seasons at the helm of the Grundy County Middle School program in addition to be an assistant with the high school team as well. Prior to coaching in Coalmont he was the offensive and defensive line coach at Warren County Middle School from 2017-2019.
Creutz replaces Curtis Francis who was 2-11 in two seasons leading the Trojan football program.
In a statement released by the school Coach Creutz said “I want to build a pipeline of talent and establish a great relationship with our high school so our community can be proud of our south players at the next level.”
Coach Creutz will have a player interest meeting in the Cafeteria of South Middle School on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
