East Middle School Boys off to 2-0 Start in Basketball

The East Middle School Panthers built a 37-12 halftime lead and never looked back in their victory Thursday night over the North Gators 58-20. Logan Presser was the leading scorer for the Panthers with 16 points and teammates Keegan Taylor and Khani Johnson each added 9 points. In girls action, the Lady Gators jumped out to a 27-17 halftime lead and the Lady Panthers just couldn’t make the difference in the second half as they fell 58-32. McLayne Bobo poured in 13 and Aniya Grizzard had 12 points to pace East. Next game is the first of two rivalry matchups with crosstown foe West on Monday November 2 at Tullahoma High School gym.
