Families Worry as Nearly 600 Inmates Diagnosed Covid-19 Positive

Officials with the Tennessee Department of Correction (TDOC) say 576 inmates at Bledsoe County Correctional Complex in Pikeville have tested positive for Coronavirus.

1,678 test results came back negative and 73 results are pending.

Some believe that the huge outbreak took place after a kitchen worker, who is not an employee of the Tennessee Department of Correction tested positive after being at the prison.

Out of 16 state facilities Bledsoe has 576 and all others combined have 93.
