Fatal Motor Home Fire in Coffee County

A deadly fire in Coffee County took place late Tuesday afternoon and is now being investigated by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI).

According to the TBI, the fire happened in the Tennessee Hills Campground just outside Manchester at a motor home.

The Sheriff’s Department reports that an elderly man on oxygen was allegedly smoking when the fire occurred. Foul play is not suspected.
