Fire Destroys Coffee County Business on Sunday Morning

A fire occurred early Sunday morning around 3 a.m. at A Blast from the Past at 2116 Woodbury Hwy. just outside the city limits of Manchester.

New Union Volunteer Fire Department was called to the scene and mutual aid was requested. Other volunteer departments responded along with Manchester Fire & Rescue, Coffee County EMS, Coffee County deputies, Coffee County Rescue Squad and others.

The building was fully engulfed as firefighters worked to control the burning building. The business was a total loss, but fortunately no injuries were reported.

A Blast from the Past was a nostalgia shopping mall.
