Health Department Reports COVID-19 Cases continue to Rise in Tennessee

The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed additional cases of COVID-19 across the state on Thursday, July 9. The health department reported 1,605 new cases, bringing the state to a total of 57,591 total cases.

TDH also confirmed 25 additional deaths, bringing Tennessee up to 710 total deaths.

Out of the confirmed positive cases, 33,609 have recovered, which calculates to 23,272 active cases in Tennessee.

*Bedford County: 9 died; 595 confirmed/probable cases; 434 recovered; 4,216 negative tests

*Coffee County: 0 died: 134 confirmed/probable cases; 98 recovered; 4,870 negative tests

*Franklin County: 3 died; 104 confirmed/probable; 65 recovered; 3,412 negative tests

*Grundy County: 2 died; 65 confirmed/probable; 50 recovered; 978 negative tests

*Lincoln County: 0 died; 80 confirmed/probable; 48 recovered; 2,522 negative tests

*Moore County: 0 died; 17 confirmed/probable; 7 recovered; 581 negative tests

*Rutherford County: 38 died; 3,326 confirmed/probable; 1,456 recovered; 25,571 negative tests

*Warren County: 0 died; 106 confirmed/probable; 56 recovered; 3,657 negative tests
