Hwy 41 Toy Convoy is Sunday

The Highway 41 Toy Convoy is this Sunday Nov. 1.

Everyone is asked to bring a new unwrapped toy to help brighten Christmas for children. One couple from Hillsboro have been collecting toys all year and are bringing over 1,200 toys to the convoy.

The convoy lineup will take place at Raider Academy in Manchester at 10 a.m.

The 24th convoy will travel from Raider Academy to U.S. 41, Beech Grove and then turn onto Hwy 64 and ending at the Wartrace square.

Admission is $10 per vehicle or $20 if you show. This is to help cover the cost of the convoy and to buy gifts for teenagers. Trophies will be given to the winners of the show and door prizes will be given away throughout the day.

Toys are being distributed through Wartrace Fire Department, Manchester Police Department, and Steve Graves, Gene Taylor Christmas Foundation.

For more info call Katy Ishee, 931-857-3643.
