The National Hurricane Center reported that Hurricane Ida made landfall noon on Sunday as a category 4 hurricane in Louisiana. Heavy rainfall from Louisiana to coastal Mississippi is forecast with flooding impacts possible across portions of the lower Mississippi and Tennessee valleys.
Hurricane Ida’s remnants may reach the west and middle portions of Tennessee on Monday evening through Tuesday with heavy rain and flash flooding possible.
