Also, as of Tuesday evening the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office was looking for Anthony Burnette. Burnette escaped custody while being transported for a COVID test.
He was last seen entering the woods behind the health department. He is handcuffed, barefooted and wearing orange inmate clothing. Burnette is charged with drug possession and criminal trespass. If you see him call 911.
