Murfreesboro Man Busted for TennCare Fraud

May 27, 2021

34-year old Christopher L. Lotito of Murfreesboro has been charged with TennCare fraud for allegedly participating in the sale of a controlled substance to an undercover agent. The painkiller Oxymorphone was obtained using TennCare healthcare insurance benefits.

Lotito was charged with one count of TennCare fraud, which is a class C felony.  

The case is being prosecuted by District Attorney General Jennings H. Jones of Rutherford County.
