Murfreesboro Woman Charged with TennCare Fraud

Jordan Miller
A Murfreesboro woman is charged with TennCare fraud and theft of services for allegedly giving false information in order to enroll herself and her three children in TennCare.
The Office of Inspector General (OIG) charged Jordan Miller, 26 for falsely reporting her marital status, failing to report that her husband lived with the family. Their combined income would have made them ineligible for TennCare. As a result, officials say TennCare paid over $25,000 on their behalf for healthcare benefits.
If convicted, Miller could be sentenced to a maximum of 27 years in prison.
Anyone can report suspected TennCare fraud by calling 1-800-433-3982, toll-free or by logging on to www.tn.gov/oig/ and following the prompts that read “Report TennCare Fraud.”
