New Covid-19 Hotline Opening for Bedford County Residents

Bedford County government is taking steps to ensure that local citizens have access to reliable and up-to-date information about the COVID-19 situation and local response to it.
The county has launched a new website, ASaferBedfordCountyTN.org, which serves as a portal to COVID-19 information. The website features links to information from the CDC and Tennessee Department of Health, as well as links to local news, information and county announcements.
Starting on Wednesday, March 25, the county will launch a new telephone hotline specifically for answering citizen questions. The hotline, 931-735-6923, will be manned from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day by employees from various county departments. They will have access to reliable, factual COVID-19 information as well as referral information for where to direct callers with higher-level questions.
The county continues to use its newly-created Facebook ( https://www.facebook.com/bedfordcountytngov/ ) and Twitter ( https://twitter.com/BedfordTn ) accounts to make up-to-the-moment announcements.
