New Football Coach at Franklin County

On Thursday, former Franklin County High School football player Justin Cunningham was named the new head coach of his previous team.
Cunningham played for the Rebels and graduated in 2005 graduate. He played college football at Austin Peay. Cunningham had coached at 5 schools, including Blackman, Smyrna before accepting the job at Franklin County. Last year he was the offensive coordinator for the Rockvale Rockets from Murfreesboro in 2019. The first-year school lost to the Rebels last year despite Cunningham’s offense scoring 47.
Cunningham takes over for Mac McCurry who was let go after 3 years.

Lucky has done play-by-play for 3,993 (and counting) sports events on Radio & TV. He also served four years as the Public Information Officer for the Coffee Co. Sheriff's Dept. and taught Radio/TV for six years at Grundy County High School.
