Cats Crush Greenbrier Claim Region Title

The Tullahoma Wildcats cliched their first Region 5-4A championship and homefield advantage throughout the playoffs with a 34-0 shutout of Greenbrier on Senior night at Wilkins Stadium (their second consecutive and second of the season).

Wildcat running back Keishawn Cummings led the way offensively on the ground rushing for 3 touchdowns on the night. Tullahoma scored four of their five touchdowns on the ground as Jaxson Sheffield also had a rushing touchdown on the night.

Not to be left out of the fun Quarterback Ryan Scott capped the scoring hooking up with Jacob Dixon on a 30-yard touchdown pass early in the 4th.

Krys Uselton helped lead the charge defensively recording two interceptions on the night.

With the win the Cats, who are ranked 2nd in 4-A in the statewide AP poll, improve to 9-0 overall and 7-0 in Region 5-4A.

While they’ll be at home for the length of their playoff run, they’ll hit the road next week to close the regular season at Glencliff. Pregame coverage of the Wildcats and Colts begins with Tri Star Sports Friday Night Live at 6:00, Scott Shasteen and Ken Keller go LIVE from the field with the final pregame notes on Wildcat Countdown at 6:50 and kickoff follows at 7:00 on 93.9 The Duck!
