On Tuesday night the Raiders and Lady Raiders of Coffee County Picked up a pair of wins in a rivalry battle against the Wildcats and Lady Cats of Tullahoma.
The Lady Raiders took home the W against the Lady Cats of Tullahoma in Manchester, 63-42
Lady Raiders’ Jalie Ruehling along with Chloe Gannon both scored 11 points on the night. Bella Vinson led the Lady Raiders to victory with 29 points alone on the night.
The Lady Wildcats fought their way through the game with Morgan Carr and Kailyn Farrell posting 6 points on the night each. Eleanor Fults scored 7 points. The Lady Wildcats Mckenna Buckner kept the Lady Wildcats alive by notching 8 points to finish the game.
The Lady Raiders improve their record to 6-0 in district and 17-1 overall. The Lady Cats fall to 5-4 overall and 3-2 in District 8-AAA action.
The Raiders took the claws out of the Wildcats in a head to head match up winning in an upset, 54-47.
Connor Shemwell scored 11 points on the night along with Trenton Scrivnor posting 14 points for the Radiers. Jaxon Vaughn drove in 16 points to take home the win for Coffee County.
Will Partin scored 4 points on the night for the Wildcats along with Joe Duncan posting 13 points. Krys Uselton lead the way for the Wildcats driving in 22 points to end the game.
The Raiders improve their record 3-2 in the district and 7-6 on the season. Tullahoma fell to 10-4 overall and 6-1 in district play.
The next high school radio broadcast is Friday night on the Rooster 101.5 as Coffee County plays host to district foe Columbia.
