On Monday night the Tullahoma Wildcats boys squad defeated Lawrence County 63-43 to advance to the District 8-AAA Tournament.
The Wildcats lead Lawrence County in the first quarter of play 16-14. Tullahoma stayed strong by keeping the lead over Lawrence county 11-5 to end the second quarter. The Wildcats went into the locker room at the half leading Lawrence County 27-19.
Tullahoma came out of halftime continuing to outscore Lawrence County 43-28 at the end of the third quarter. The Wildcats kept pace to dominate the court in the fourth quarter to end the contest on top 63-43.
Tullahoma improved their record to 11-9 overall and 6-6 In District. The Wildcats boys squad will now advance to the next round of the District 8-AAA tournament to take on the Lions of Columbia Central on the road Wednesday with tip-off set for 6pm.

Lincoln County 55 upended Shelbyville 52. Coffee County will host Lincoln County on Wednesday night at 6pm and you can hear the game on The Rooster 101.5 FM
In Girl’s Action from Monday night’s tournament:
Lawrence County 54 defeated Shelbyville 38. Tullahoma will host Lawrence County on Wednesday night.
Columba 66 got past Lincoln County 56. Coffee County’s Lady Raiders will host Columbia at 8:30pm Wednesday. You can hear this game on The Rooster 101.5 FM beginning at 8:30pm.
