Red Raiders boys team falls to Blackman in the semifinals of the Region 4-AAA Tournament

On Tuesday night the Coffee County Red Raiders boys squad unfortunately fell to the Blaze of Blackman 46-39 in the semifinal round of the Region 4-AAA Tournament.

The Coffee County Raiders came out strong but trailed Blackman at the end of the first quarter 16-7. The Red Raiders gained momentum and cut the deficit to 5, but still trailed the Blaze at the end of the second quarter 25-20 going into the locker room. Out of halftime Coffee County battled hard to cut the deficit, but Blackman remained in the lead, 27-25 at the end of the third quarter. The Red Raiders stayed tough in the fourth quarter but fell to the Blaze in the semifinal round of the Region 4-AAA Tournament.

Jaxon Vaughn led the way for the Red Raiders posting 10 points. Hayden Hullett scored 8 points for Coffee County. Phineas Rollman and Trenton Scrivnor notched 7 points on the night for the Red Raiders. The Coffee County finished their season at 15-12 overall.
