TSSAA State Wrestling Tournament Delayed until Next Week

The TSSAA has postponed the State Wrestling Tournament until next week. The major impact of snow and ice in Tennessee has posed a problem for many schools to travel for athletic events.

The state tournament originally scheduled for February 18th through the 20th has now been postponed till February 24th through the 26th.

For Coffee County, Red Raiders Jacob Barlow and Gavin Prater have qualified for the state tournament. Barlow was named the Freshman of the Year for the region. Coffee County also had 2 Lady Raiders that qualified for the State Tournament, MaryAnne Walker and Mary Wolfrum

Tullahoma has 10 wrestlers heading to State. Lady Wildcats Divine Desilets, Olivia Hogan, Katy Champion, and Isabel Petty secured their spots in the tournament earlier this month. Elijah Cowan, Caden Avans, Caleb Adkins, Trint Partin, Rex Nunley, and Cole Morse punched their tickets to the State Tournament last week for the Wildcats Boys squad.

Kaden White from Moore County also qualified for state and will hit the mat Wednesday.
