Tullahoma softball falls to Franklin County on the road

It was a tough day on Monday for Tullahoma Lady Wildcats, who lost 10-1 to Franklin County 

Franklin County scored four runs in the fifth inning. Amelia Sherrill, Jalyn Brewer, and Karlee Rogers each drove in runs during the inning.

Alyssa Sherill led the Franklin County Lady Rebels to victory on the rubber. The bulldog surrendered one run on three hits over six innings, striking out eight and walking one. 

Katy Bean took the loss for Tullahoma. Bean lasted five innings, allowing six hits and eight runs while striking out three. 

Kailyn Farrell, Erin Douglas, and Emeri Saunders each managed one hit to lead the Lady Wildcats. 

Franklin County racked up eight hits in the game. Makayla O’Neal and Sherill all collected multiple hits for Franklin County. O’Neal went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Franklin County in hits.
