On Friday afternoon, the Tullahoma Police Department received a call regarding a potential threat at Tullahoma High School. Immediately, both TPD officers, Coffee County deputies, and school administration began investigating the threat.
In an abundance of caution and to ensure the safety of students, teachers, staff and others, the school began lockdown procedures and then determined it was best to exit the building to the football field. Students remained safe at the field under adult supervision until it was decided release students at 1:45 p.m.
Police report that no device or anything out of the ordinary was located at the school.
