The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed additional cases of COVID-19 across the state on Monday, May 11.
The state’s total cases jumped to 15,544 after the addition of 559 new cases, a 4% day-to-day increase.
The state health department reported eight additional deaths. There are now 251 COVID-19 deaths in Tennessee.
Out of the confirmed positive cases, 8,038 have recovered, which calculates to 7,255 active cases.

*Coffee County: 0 died: 54 confirmed cases; 28 recovered; 1,559 negative tests
*Franklin County: 1 died; 41 confirmed; 31 recovered; 1,568 negative tests
*Grundy County: 1 died; 30 confirmed; 24 recovered; 379 negative tests
*Lincoln County: 0 died; 16 confirmed; 11 recovered; 907 negative tests
*Moore County: 0 died; 3 confirmed; 3 recovered; 222 negative tests
*Rutherford County: 14 died; 745 confirmed; 281 recovered; 7,226 negative tests
*Warren County: 0 died; 12 confirmed; 8 recovered; 1,260 negative tests
