Pandemic Takes Down Area Manufacturer

The COVID-19 pandemic has taken down a major employer in Shelbyville. More than 300 people lost their jobs on Tuesday at the National Pen Corporation plant. Employees were notified they were permanently laid off immediately.
An employee we spoke with told On Target News the company letter; the COVID-19 pandemic severely impacted the company’s ability to remain in business.

Sheriff's Dept. and taught Radio/TV for 6 years at Grundy County High School.
