Pedestrian Killed as he walked along I-24 in Coffee County

According to a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Donnie Goines age 73 of North Little Rock, Arkansas was driving a 2019 Kenworth construction truck westbound on I-24 in Coffee County around 7:10 p.m. Sunday night. As the truck neared mile-marker 108 it struck a pedestrian in the left lane.

Debris from the truck struck a 2013 Hyundai Elantra driven by a 25 year-old female from Port Orange, FL.

The pedestrian, 23 year-old Grant Brumlow from Chattanooga, TN. was pronounced deceased at Manchester’s Unity Medical Center.

There were no other injuries reported.
