Tullahoma City Schools and Coffee County Schools were made aware of a potential threat regarding the Coffee Pot football game on Thursday morning.

A joint investigation began with Tullahoma Police, Coffee County Sheriff’s Department, Manchester City Police and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department.

Around noon on Thursday Tullahoma Police confirmed that there is NO threat. Police say two students were just conversing about Sunday’s incident when a Franklin County student threatened to shoot up a Coffee County school. The 16 year-old male was charged in that incident. Police added that there will still be a strong presence of officers at the Coffee County Pot game.

Remember you hear coverage of the game on two of our stations. The Wildcat broadcast on 93.9 The Duck and the Red Raider broadcast on The Rooster 101.5.
