Protest held in Winchester, Organizers looking to hold an event in Tullahoma

The City of Winchester says the protest march that was permitted Saturday afternoon concluded with no issues. The protesters wanted a peaceful protest about George Floyd and ongoing issues with police brutality.

The city thanked to the organizers, participants, and law enforcement for a successful and peaceful event.

Now organizers say they are working on a peaceful protest march and rally to take place in Tullahoma Saturday, June 13 at 5 p.m. City leaders received a request on Friday, June 5, 2020.
