Record Number of Deaths for One Day in Tennessee; Coffee County up to 3

The Tennessee Department of Health reported 2,252 additional cases of COVID-19 on Thursday. The state has reported a total of 116,350 cases since the outbreak began.

42 additional COVID-19-related deaths were reported Thursday, the highest single-day number of deaths reported for Tennessee. TDH has attributed 1,186 deaths to COVID-19.

77,558 Tennesseans are now considered recovered. There are now 37,606 active cases in Tennessee.

*Bedford County: 11 died; 901 confirmed/probable cases; 651 recovered; 239 active cases

*Cannon County: 0 died; 136 confirmed/probable cases; 83 recovered; 53 active cases

*Coffee County: 3 died: 482 confirmed/probable cases; 212 recovered; 267 active cases

*Franklin County: 4 died; 302 confirmed/probable; 172 recovered; 126 active cases.

*Grundy County: 2 died; 108 confirmed/probable; 74 recovered; 32 active cases

*Lincoln County: 1 died; 268 confirmed/probable; 143 recovered; 124 active cases.

*Moore County: 0 died; 55 confirmed/probable; 30 recovered; 25 active cases

*Rutherford County: 53 died; 6,298 confirmed/probable; 3,626 recovered; 2,619 active cases.

*Warren County: 4 died; 479 confirmed/probable; 235 recovered; 240 active cases
