The Coffee County Sheriff’s Department have received calls from citizens stating they have been getting calls from people identifying themselves as members of the Sheriff’s Department. They state that they have civil warrants and the person needs to call a number to take care of the issue. Once people call this number, they are being instructed to pay an amount of money.
The Coffee County Sheriff’s Department is wanting to let the citizens know that they do not call and solicit payment for process that they need to serve.
