Sportsmen & Businessmen’s Charitable Organization helping Two Groups provide Christmas for those in need

Sportsmen & Businessmen’s Charitable Organization made contributions this week to the Manchester Police Children’s Christmas program and Retired Coffee County Sheriff Steve Graves and the late Gene Taylor Christmas Foundation.

This generous donation will be used to help provide toys, clothing, personal hygiene items and food to some less-fortunate children and their families in our community.

On Tuesday, Manchester PD met with Santa, and he agreed to give them toys for the Christmas tree on the square. MPD will randomly place toys under the tree, in front of the courthouse up until Christmas.

Santa would like for families in need to come and get what you need for your children, and be respectful of how much you get, let’s all share and will hopefully have enough for all that need help.

The first batch of toys were gone in about and hour on Tuesday, but more to come.
