Spring Hikes set for State Parks

Fresh air and a new season await Tennesseans on Saturday, March 21 as Tennessee State Parks host the annual Spring Hikes at all 56 state parks. Hikes of all levels of difficulty will be available, each guided by a park ranger.
The Spring Hikes are part of a series of Signature Hikes at the parks. Tennessee State Parks saw 3,607 participants at its First Day Hikes on January 1.

Old Stone Fort
TN State Parks Signature Event: Free Ranger guided hike along the 1.25 mile Enclosure Trail at Old Stone Fort. Meet at the museum.

South Cumberland State Park
See the early ephemeral wildflowers in the headwaters of the Collins River

Tims Ford State Park
Join Park Rangers on a hike along the Lost Creek Overlook Trail. This trail is 1.3 miles out, and we will return on the paved trail which will add 1.1 miles
