State Active Covid-19 Cases on the Rise (April 23)

The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed additional cases of COVID-19 across the state on Thursday, April 23.

The update adds 424 cases, bringing Tennessee’s total positive cases to 8,266. The department also reported four additional deaths to bring the total up to 170.

Out of the confirmed positive cases, 4,193 have recovered. Currently we have 4,073 active cases.

The latest number of hospitalizations is 793.

*Bedford County: 2 died; 128 confirmed cases; 13 recovered; 697 negative tests

*Coffee County: 0 died: 25 confirmed cases; 9 recovered; 685 negative tests

*Cannon County: 0 died; 10 confirmed; 5 recovered; 177 negative tests

*Franklin County: 1 died; 28 confirmed; 24 recovered; 512 negative tests

*Moore County: 0 died; 3 confirmed; 0 recovered; 93 negative tests

*Grundy County: 1 died; 27 confirmed; 20 recovered; 192 negative tests

*Lincoln County: 0 died; 11 confirmed; 7 recovered; 234 negative tests

*Warren County: 0 died; 4 confirmed; 3 recovered; 403 negative tests

*Rutherford County: 7 died; 352 confirmed; 170 recovered; 2,952 negative tests
