Stuff the Bus and Expo for Coffee Co. Students

As the new school year approaches, the Coffee County Schools’ Family Resource Center is gearing up for its sixth annual Coffee County Student Expo to take place on Saturday, August 1st. This event provides students in need, grades Pre-K – 12th, with a backpack, school supplies, hygiene items, and much more. Community partnerships and sponsors foster this program by providing necessary items for our students. Since the inception of this program, through the generosity of our giving community, we have helped nearly 3,000 students in need, and this year’s event anticipates to serve close to 900 students. Coffee County Student Expo focuses on at-risk, disadvantaged students, thereby allowing every child the opportunity to start the school year on the right path. In addition, this program aims to improve attendance and academic performance, as well as bolster self-esteem and develop community awareness.

Coffee County Schools Family Resource Center needs your help to “Stuff the Bus!” On July 15th, powered by Peoples Bank & Trust Company, the Family Resource Center will be touring around businesses, industries and organizations in Manchester picking up needed school supply items to stuff the bus. The items collected will be distributed at the Student Expo.
